It is the name given to the return of the blood taken from the patient using an appropriate vascular access route, through a filter called a dialyzer (artificial kidney) with the help of a machine and pump, by regulating the liquid and solute content. It is generally applied in sessions lasting 4 hours, 3 times a week.
